That Joy on Your Face My Dear Sister

 Tinago Falls...

We were on a bamboo raft along with many of our SFC family
and some men were pulling a roof that leads straight to the waterfall.

I remembered being so excited.
We took time to post for pictures for our brother (our faithful photographer)

who was on the other side of the water.

When we reached the gushing fall
I can hear shouting.
Loud shouting washed out by loud falling waters.
Everyone on the raft was ecstatic.
I can only see teeth and yellow and orange life vests.

That's how strong the water was.

I looked for you and I panic for a moment for I did not see you.
I searched for you and found you at the edge of the raft.
You were at the center of the water fall-
the heart of it all - letting it wash all of you.
you were shouting and jumping while holding the rope,
the poor thing supporting you.
I thought it might break.
You were so brave enjoying it all.
You've been through a lot yet here you are, whole.
For a moment I felt a tinge of jealousy wishing I could be as happy as you.
But you held my hand and jump as if saying, don’t think!  Feel!
I jumped with you and we were shouting so hard it hurts.
The water was so cold and incredibly tiny droplets of water were on our faces,
our shoulders, our hands and even our finger nails!

I wish we had water proof camera to capture us.

Panaad 2012 in pictures, Part 1

Because I didnt get the chance to post pictures of our Panaad trip last year. Here it is, come join me.

My Singles for Christ Family :)

Hola! We're at Binoni port. We were surprised that there is a registration for this, and It's for free. You get an ID and a map. Now who's excited?

Our DGL "pogi" getting ready.

Pictorial first.
That's me, my sister, and Barbie(she is not part of our group but she went along with us)
The sun is so bright, holy, and hot, but we were ready. Look at the sky so blue and the trees so green.

Stopping at a Nipa Hut. Under the shadow of your wings I take refuge.
It is our goal to visit every chapel in the island. We actually slept here for 4 hours to let pass the afternoon heat. Each one occupying a chair.
This Baranggay is actually the most giving. There is free food and water at each corner of the street for the Panaad People :)
The station of the cross. Here we have the second station. There are 14 stations, each station is strategically placed along side the road where people could see it. All 14 stations surround the entire island.
With a generosity like this, you wont go hungry.

I think that's Mt. Hibok-hibok. Ah, Camiguin my beloved.

Here we are. 10 of us. Each so beautiful and brave.

 And tired..and resting.
And God grants us to see beauty like this. My little flower where did you come from?

The work of your hands. What is man that you are mindful of him?
Dirty feet. Feet is dirty.
Even with little money, we were not allowed to go hungry for you are our provider. Banana for free.
The simplicity and beauty of it all. If only you have eyes to see and heart to appreciate little things.

Build your house upon The Rock.

When God is all you've got. Suddenly you'll see God is enough. A friend's acquaintance suddenly prepares a dinner for you.
The pain sometimes becomes unbearable.
So you rest for a while.
Fishers of men. Are we?
For you hold the key to the kingdom of heaven

And so we continue our walk for God.
And God is faithful. Meeting our every need. (You prepare a table before me in the presence of mine enemies) Free Breakfast near White Island.
God's faithfulness is as pretty as this picture. And you are given strength to continue.

And you fall again. So you rest.

We sang praises as we walk and rest.
And we take pictures of our tired feet. That is actually my feet. Lovely! haha.

We are halfway through around the Island. Click here for my Panaad 2012 in pictures, Part 2.

Camiguin Island (Holy Week)

Went to Camiguin Island for Holy Week. A three and a half day vacation! yay. Ive got lots and lots of pictures. But because this is the one i miss most during my childhood days i will post this first....

Yes i went sailing. Together with my two cousins and my lil bro. By the looks of it, from where i am sitting i am the driver.  :D

Hahahah.I love these three!

We want to go to Matangad. Location of The famous horse. Local stories has it that there was this pantion(i have no idea whats the english word for this) of gold in that place. That one of my relatives(i dont know his name) spotted it but he had no idea how to get the pantion of gold out of the water. So he just keeps on coming everyday and looking at the pantion. One day locals saw this very big boat anchored on that place. A rather unusual site. When my relative returned to look at it again it was already gone. (too bad, that's what u get for being selfish. hehehe)The boat was rumored to be owned by the Rodriguez family. Who owns a helicopter, boats and barges and even a private airport. They are indeed wealthy but not that influential because as i and all of us camiguinons know, Camiguin is controlled and sort of owned by the Romualdo's. Well anyway.  Lets not talk about that here. hehehe

Ah. Matangad is on the other side of that bend there.

We are getting closer...
 And closer...

yay. look at that!

And that....

And ooopss...water pollution.

And were here....
I dont know if you can spot it. But that's him on the center. The famous horse.(it does looks like a horse on sideview). We did not come closer coz its a little bit awry and dangerous. yay. Those stones are huge and the place is so quiet. Arent we brave? :p

Little brother caught a fish while we were returning home....

Hahaha its so small! But look at how proud he is! hahhaha oh happy day!
