Letting Go

Last night, I went out for a walk to get my thoughts off things that are bothering me at the moment.

Like:  Would I be able to have another job after resigning with my current job?
 Would I ace interviews?

I want to let go of my fears concerning future work, concerning my future that is.

And I walked and walked till I felt sweat over my back and face. I walked with my fears and lay them down one by one.

I found myself then inside Nazareno Church. And that's when I know that the path to life is letting go, and that in every corner of the way a banner is hang saying, NO CLINGING!

And I learned then to let go and let God. It sounds cliché and old but it is true.
Let go and let God because he knows best and that He holds our future.

No fear in that. So no clinging.

Now I feel free and I feel ready. I don't know why but I am excited. Letting go and letting God makes you feel excited; you just don't know what will happen next but you know that it would be for your best, for your very best.

"In the path of our happiness shall we find the learning for which we have chosen this lifetime." - Richard Bach

NO CLINGING!

Posting some pictures of myself. :)
That's me at the center with my friends. We are at Eco Village Malasag having some holiday escapade.

Camiguin Island (Holy Week)

Went to Camiguin Island for Holy Week. A three and a half day vacation! yay. Ive got lots and lots of pictures. But because this is the one i miss most during my childhood days i will post this first....

Yes i went sailing. Together with my two cousins and my lil bro. By the looks of it, from where i am sitting i am the driver.  :D

Hahahah.I love these three!

We want to go to Matangad. Location of The famous horse. Local stories has it that there was this pantion(i have no idea whats the english word for this) of gold in that place. That one of my relatives(i dont know his name) spotted it but he had no idea how to get the pantion of gold out of the water. So he just keeps on coming everyday and looking at the pantion. One day locals saw this very big boat anchored on that place. A rather unusual site. When my relative returned to look at it again it was already gone. (too bad, that's what u get for being selfish. hehehe)The boat was rumored to be owned by the Rodriguez family. Who owns a helicopter, boats and barges and even a private airport. They are indeed wealthy but not that influential because as i and all of us camiguinons know, Camiguin is controlled and sort of owned by the Romualdo's. Well anyway.  Lets not talk about that here. hehehe

Ah. Matangad is on the other side of that bend there.

We are getting closer...
 And closer...

yay. look at that!

And that....

And ooopss...water pollution.

And were here....
I dont know if you can spot it. But that's him on the center. The famous horse.(it does looks like a horse on sideview). We did not come closer coz its a little bit awry and dangerous. yay. Those stones are huge and the place is so quiet. Arent we brave? :p

Little brother caught a fish while we were returning home....

Hahaha its so small! But look at how proud he is! hahhaha oh happy day!

Fiest of Sr. St. Nino

My long been overdue pictures of St. Nino's fiesta in Balingasag.
Lots and lots of people came to gather and celebrate.
And they even have with them a replica of their own little Ninos too!
This is what the outside of the Balingasag church looks like. You can see a lot of balloon vendors and kids like it so much...there's spidey and dora in there too.

The mass has ended and so we decided to follow the procession...

Teakwood Hills

Teakwood Hills

And so we went to Teakwood Hills!yay my mom has been talking a lot about it lately so finally today my parents decided to just go and take a look(luckily for me, i was just in time to catch them so i tag along). Its 10 or more kilometers from the city proper so its not that far. Teakwood Hills is owned and developed by A Brown Company the same people behind Xavier States. (naunhan na jud ta ni Brown da) The place was really breathtaking, similar to Echo Village well at least in the surrounding beauty it beholds.  You will have the vast ocean and the city in view. It felt like you are so close to the heavens already. They also have a function hall(the terrace part was designed like a ship it was really pretty nice(titanic effect)) or soemthing like that with a big swimming pool with it. It was emotionally beautiful but the thing is i don't like much the road going there. Its very narrow and steep like 45 degrees! I hope they will do something about that. And also you cant go there if you dont have a car. (Dli pwede mgsikad. ehhehhe) So it's a place for millionaires(daghan na keu lugar para sa ato ba?). I was really glad i went along with my mom and dad including my 2 brothers. The only thing i regret is not bringing our digital camera with us! If you want to know more visit their site here.

Things I'm grateful for today Feb 10 2011

1. Im super glad and happy i went along for a short ride to teakwood hills. Little adventure doesnt hurt ayt?
2. Im thankful that i get to help mommy with her powerpoint presentation. A little more to go.
3. Bought a paint brush at last! Thank you Lord. :)

4. Im grateful for Charice! No other, i mean no other(at least for now) celebrities can inspire me the way Charice does. I love everything about her! Im a certified chaster since college.  :P And i watched her performance last night in 2011 Woman’s Day Red Dress Awards & Campbell’s AdDress Your Heart at Jazz at Lincoln Center New York City  via youtube over and over again! She performed a medley of Witney Houston songs and Gloria Gaynor - I Will Survive. Her performance was breath taking even though ive already watched her sing the same songs over and over again. She just keeps on getting better and better after every performance and that is what i like about her the most aside from she's real funny and childish sometimes. Thank you Lantao Islands for covering Charice's performance. You are a certified chaster and i wish i can be as rich as you to follow Charice everywhere she goes and get a chance to take a video on her every performance. Charice you are a little ball of fire. Keep burning! i mean shining.
5. Laughing so hard with my mom! She calls the cursor as pitik-pitik. waaaaaaaaa.
Mommy: Gang unsaon d i pg move aning pitik-pitik?
Me:Laughing out load and rolling on the floor after realizing what pitik-pitik was.
